  • Day 1

    Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport - Welcome to Kenya

    Today you arrive at the airport in Nairobi. You have already purchased your visa online in advance and are collecting your luggage. At the exit you will be met by your driver and after a short briefing you will be taken to your accommodation in Nairobi.

     

  • Day 2 & 3

    From Nairobi to the Ol Pejeta sanctuary to see the rhinos and chimpanzees

    On the second day you leave Nairobi and drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a very special area in Kenya, it not only offers a wonderful African backdrop, no, it is also home to the impressive black and white rhinos and chimpanzees.

    After lunch you will go on your first game drive - with a lot of luck you will see all the Big Five today. Return to accommodation for dinner and overnight.

    Use the following day for a full day game drive and to explore Ol Pejeta. Visit the chimpanzees and rhinos and create unforgettable memories.

  • Day 4

    From the chimpanzees and rhinos to the flamingos at Lake Nakuru

    After breakfast, leave Ol Pejeta and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Your way leads you through smaller villages and the typical Kenyan landscape. The journey time is approximately 6 hours, so you will arrive in the early afternoon for lunch. Use the afternoon for a first game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This is particularly famous for its flamingo population. You can see these well in January and February during the breeding season. There is also a lot to discover for the rest of the year and Lake Nakuru is definitely worth a visit. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day 5

    From the flamingos on Lake Nakuru to the Masai Mara

    After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru and drive to the Masai Mara. The travel time is approx. 4-5 hours. You will arrive at your accommodation in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will go on your first game drive in search of the inhabitants of the Masai Mara. Zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, warthogs and one or the other lion will cross your path. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 6

    Game drives in the Masai Mara

    You start your first game drive through the Masai Mara early in the morning - the animals are particularly active here. You return to the accommodation for breakfast and relax there until after lunch. In the afternoon you can visit a Maasai village (not included in the price) before the next game drive. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

  • Day 7

    From the Masai Mara back to Nairobi

    Today your journey is drawing to a close. After a final morning game drive in the Masai Mara and a hearty breakfast, you will return to Nairobi. The journey time is approx. 5 hours (lunch not included in the price). We will be happy to drop you off at the hotel or airport and say goodbye to you.

Eka Hotel

The Eka Hotel is a modern hotel, which offers good comfort for the discerning traveller. It is located perfectly in Mombasa Road in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It is only a few minutes from the international airport Jomo Kenyatta, 5km from Wilson airport and 5km from Nairobi's business district. The hotel has 170 rooms. Serena Sweetwaters Camp

The Serena Sweetwaters is an oasis in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, right next to a water hole. It offers a mixture of "out of Africa" feeling combined with good comfort. There are 39 luxury tents spread all over the premises. All of them have a private patio with view over the water hole. The Rhino Restaurant is located centrally in the former manor of the farm and serves local and international cuisine. In the manor there is also the Kashoggi Bar and Lounge. The Waterhole Bar offers a view over the waterhole and therefore unique wildlife watching. 

 


Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Built upon the line of hills, which mark the Western border of the African Great Rift Valley, the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge offers a spectacular view over the African vastness. The lodge oversees the Lake Nakuru und it's surrounding National Park. It is paradise for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The Nakuru National Park is a mainly bushy and tree-covered grassland with a large ecological variety. 


Masai Mara Sopa Lodge

The Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is located on the hillsides of the Oloongams Hills and it was one of the first lodges built in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The bungalows were modelled on the Maasai huts. The landscape surrounding the lodge is lush and from desert cactuses to jasmin blossoms many different kinds of plants are growing there. From here you can explore the Masai Mara reserve.

Masai Mara is the conservation area with the most animal species in Kenya and is located at the border to Tanzania, as part of the Serengeti. Covering an area of 1510 km², this is the place to observe the great migration of gnus and zebras from September until November.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

At the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains, in central Kenya, Laikipia County, you can find the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The natural habitat of the black rhino. It is also home of the 3 last northern white rhinos in the world. During the colonial times, is has been a cattle ranch and is now a pioneer for wildlife protection. Apart from the rhinos, you can also find chimpanzees and the other 4 of the Big Five, as well as: zebras, giraffes, hippos, cheetahs, jackals, hyaenas, vervet monkeys and many more. Visitors can enjoy a range of outdoor activities including horseback riding, walks and nocturnal game drives.

Lake Nakuru National Park

The Lake Nakuru National Park is situated about 160 km northwest of the capital Nairobi at Lake Nakuru. This national park is famous especially for its flamingo population. Here you can also marvel at other mammals such as antelopes, waterbucks, monkeys, buffaloes and giraffes. The park is also a protected area for rhinos, featuring a population of more than 60 black and white rhinos.
