Tour to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara

Kenya | 7 days

Travel offer Overview

Welcome to Kenya!

This tour combines the view of the majestic Kilimanjaro from Amboseli National Park, a visit to Lake Naivasha in the East African Rift Valley and the best at the end of a safari in the Masai Mara - Kenya's most famous national park.

Who doesn't know the picture of elephants wandering through the savannah at sunset in front of Kilimanjaro? Most of them were created during a game drive through the Amboseli National Park.

A stop at Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley clearly shows the tectonic activities in this area before heading to the Masai Mara, where the spectacle of great wildebeest migration takes place, especially in the period from July to October, and the wildebeest across the Mara River jump and follow the rain shower in search of food.

Masai Mara Sopa Lodge

The Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is located on the hillsides of the Oloongams Hills and it was one of the first lodges built in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The bungalows were modelled on the Maasai huts. The landscape surrounding the lodge is lush and from desert cactuses to jasmin blossoms many different kinds of plants are growing there. From here you can explore the Masai Mara reserve.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge

The Amboseli Sopa Lodge is in the middle of 200 hectare private land and the foothill of Kilimandscharo, which is with about 6000m the highest and most famous snowcapped mountain in Africa. This area inspired the memorable stories of Ernest Hemingway in the 1930s: "Snows of Kilimandscharo" and "The Short, Happy Life of Francis Macomber". Both were made into films later. The lodge is about 20 minutes from the gate of Amboseli.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

The Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge with it's 150 hectares of grassland with acacias and trees is not only home to giraffes, waterbucks and monkeys, but also for hippos, which leave the lake for the night. Every night they come to browse. All bungalows are inserted to the premises, so no tree had to be cut down. That's why the main building winds around the trees. The lodge offers two swimming pools with a baby pool, a bar, a snackbar, a pizzeria and a spa. As well as a tennis court and two conference rooms.
